Eva Mendes has been announced as ambassador of the 2022 McHappy Day.
Two years after fronting the Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) charity event in 2020, the Hollywood star didn't hesitate when asked to support the organization again.
Until recently, Mendes would offer her support, either in person or via Skype, and during their video chats, she talked with children staying at the Ronald McDonald House about anything and everything.
Eva Mendes is able to visit the families this year because of the easing of the pandemic and the opening of the borders.
"I am incredibly honoured to once again partner with McDonald's to raise awareness of McHappy Day and support the truly invaluable work of Ronald McDonald House Charities," Mendes said in a statement. "I'm looking forward to meeting with some of the incredible families staying at a Ronald McDonald House, listening to their inspirational stories and witnessing first-hand the life-changing support services provided by RMHC." Because her cousin Linda was in the same boat seven years ago, Mendes is particularly interested in connecting with sick children and their families.
