Lately, in recent years, the biggest luxury brands in the world have been appointing Asia's most famous faces as ambassadors, and Jackson Yee is a recently appointed as an ambassador.
Recent from the Swiss watchmaker Jaeger-LeCoultre; it has just appointed Chinese actor, singer, and dancer Jackson Yee, also known as Yi Yang Qian Xi, as the latest ambassador for the brand. Just 22 years old, Yee is one of the most popular celebrities in China.
In 2013, Jackson Yee was the youngest member of Chinese boyband TFBoys and made his professional debut at the age of five.
At the 2021 Oscars, Jackson Yee was nominated for Best International Film for his role in the romantic thriller Better Days.
Jackson Yee won the Best Newcomer Award at the 35th Hundred Flowers Awards, a prestigious Chinese film awards ceremony, and the Best Newcomer Award at the 39th Hong Kong Film Awards.
“I greatly admire Jaeger-LeCoultre for its elegant and timeless style, rich heritage and constant quest for innovation,” Jackson Yee said of his latest appointment. “I feel honoured to work with the maison and very much look forward to our new collaboration.”
In his first photo shoot with the company, Yee wears the Reverso Tribute Duoface Calendar. It contains two of the complications from Jaeger-LeCoultre- the triple calendar and the Duoface. The second one displays the time in two different time zones.
Jackson Yee also represents Emporio Armani and Tiffany & Co. in addition to Jaeger-LeCoultre.
For two years in a row, Jackson Yee has topped the Forbes China Celebrity List, which assesses Chinese celebrities' influence based on factors such as their commercial value and media exposure.
He is the youngest celebrity ever to top the list.
