Nancy is the perfect combination of intelligence and beauty. Before she was thrown into the public limelight as the girlfriend of Sven-Göran Eriksson, then manager of the England national football team, she worked as a property lawyer. She has since become an incredibly popular TV personality and dedicates a lot of her time to charitable causes. At 18, Nancy studied law at Sapienza University of Rome. Following graduation her employers, a Rome based legal company, sent her to study at New York University. She later set up her own legal practice specialising in high-end property deals. Nancy Dell'Olio now has a string of television appearances to her name including hosting the show Footballers' Cribs on MTV where she gave viewers tours of the luxury homes of English football players. She also took part in the BBC1 show Strictly Come Dancing and appeared in the 2008 version of the popular Sky One programme, Project Catwalk. In June 2007, she published her autobiography 'My Beautiful Game.' Recently Nancy joined the Sun on Sunday team to contribute to its fashion columns. In 2012, Nancy fronted a new campaign for Domestos. She has written a guide titled The Modern Domestic Goddess Guide to Bathroom Etiquette, advising people on how to keep their toilet clean and their guests happy. Tips include using scented candles and air freshener, spare loo roll, a reminder for guests to wash their hands, and fluffy towels. The guide is available to download from the Domestos website and showcases the brand's range of germ-killing products.

Charity Work

Nancy is keenly involved with charitable organisations. She is particularly interested in projects that work with vulnerable young people and has visited British Red Cross projects in both the UK and overseas. With Sven-Göran Eriksson she co-founded the British based charity Truce International of which she is the chairwoman. The charity aims to use football as a means of uniting people in areas affected by war.
