Peter Andre

English born Australian singer and television personality.

In 1989, 16-year-old Andre became a contestant on the show New Faces, on which he was offered a recording contract for $146,000. During this time, Andre attended Benowa State High School on the Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia. Peter gained popularity as a singer, especially in the UK, best known for his feel-good summer singles "Mysterious Girl" and "Flava". Peter's popularity grew thanks to appearances on the third series of I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!, and the thirteenth series of Strictly Come Dancing, in which he was partnered with Janette Manrara. During his time on I'm A Celebrity..., Peter developed a romantic relationship with fellow contestant, Katie Price. The two got married two years after the show's finale, having two children and releasing the 2006 album A Whole New World, before divorcing in 2009. During their marriage, Peter and Katie launched the Katie & Peter franchise on ITV2, documenting their lives together. The franchise included several fly-on-the-wall reality series which comprised When Jordan Met Peter, Jordan & Peter: Laid Bare and Jordan & Peter: Marriage and Mayhem (2004–05); Katie & Peter: The Next Chapter, Katie & Peter: The Baby Diaries and Katie & Peter: Unleashed (2007); Katie & Peter: Down Under; and Katie & Peter: African Adventures (2008); and Katie & Peter: Stateside in 2009. In 2013, he guest-presented five episodes of Sunday Scoop on ITV and, since November 2013, has presented 60 Minute Makeover, which has been re-branded as Peter Andre's 60 Minute Makeover. In 2014, Peter Andre released his new song "Kid" for the movie Mr. Peabody & herman and as the lead single from his album Big Night. In 2014, Andre became the new face to feature in supermarket Iceland's television commercials. Peter was announced as a contestant for the thirteenth series of Strictly Come Dancing which began in September 2015, partnering with pro dancer Janette Manrara. They went out just before the quater final; on week 10.
