Brad Pitt has been announced as global ambassador for coffee appliance brand De’Longhi, and fronts a new international ad campaign, directed by Damien Chazelle.
In the new cinematic ad, viewers get a look at a "day-in-the-life" of the star, who picks up coffee beans, rides his motorcycle along the California, and makes a trip to the gas station before returning home to relax with a cup of his home-brewed cappuccino.

Director Chazelle and Pitt weren’t the only golden statue-toting talents on the film; cinematographer Linus Sandgren and composer Justin Hurwitz (both Academy Award winners and regular Chazelle collaborators) also worked on the campaign, while photographer Lachlan Bailey shot the images.
"I wanted to work with De'Longhi because I appreciated their approach for the campaign—they have confidence in their product and want to celebrate the artistry of their Italian heritage without overdoing it," Pitt said on becoming a brand ambassador. "[Director] Damien Chazelle's concept resulted in a beautiful product—just like their coffee machines, creating an indirect nod to the elegance, design and harmony that the brand naturally embodies."
Massimo Garavaglia, De’Longhi Group's CEO, commented, "Brad Pitt is the perfect ambassador to tell the world about De’Longhi - he is the quintessential embodiment of the De’Longhi spirit: bold and international but at the same time, sophisticated and elegant."
The Dinamica Plus is De’Longhi’s latest espresso machine, a fully automatic coffee maker that’ll set you back a cool $1,500. The smart java station is equipped with a built-in burr grinder with 13 settings, allowing you to make 16 custom or one-touch drinks (including espressos, cappuccinos, flat whites, iced coffee and more) with one machine.
